Craig's Ugly Wreath Contest
Bust out the glue gun, get your ugly on, and win $250 cash! The Mellwood Art Center is inviting you to use your creativity to make the tackiest, gaudiest, most unattractive wreaths possible. Did one of the Bumpus’ hounds get ahold of it? Does it look like a pink nightmare? The only limitation is your imagination! And size. Wreaths must be:
- Under 36 inches in diameter
- Less than 10 pounds
- Battery operated if it needs electricity
Also, while ugly is in the eye of the beholder, a few things are objectively ugly. Please note the following is not allowed:
- Profanity
- Graphic or adult imagery
- Political statements
- Anything mean-spirited
- Anything hazardous, unsanitary, or unsafe
Wreaths entered in Craig’s Ugly Wreath Contest will be on display throughout the Mellwood Art Center during the Market on Mellwood Holiday Bazaar. We retain the right to reject and/or decline to display wreaths deemed unacceptable. Contestants must drop off their entries at the Mellwood Art Center’s Rental Office between November 29th and December 1st, between 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Be sure to attach your name and at least one (1) method of contact so we can notify the winner. The winner will be announced on Dec. 4th at 10:30 AM and can make arrangements afterwards to pick up their prize.
