Statement
Sue has discovered her love of art at midlife while working as the campus nurse at Bellarmine College. After taking postgraduate courses in fine arts at Bellarmine she became involved in several art guilds, groups and art activities such as Gallopalooza and Heads Up Ky. She has been a free lance illustrator, has taught painting in adult ed classes for more than ten years and is currently the Director of Education for the Kentucky Watercolor Society. She has exhibited nationally as well as regionally and has won many awards. She enjoys painting "people pictures", fun and sometimes surreal images, abstracted realism, florals and just about anything that captures her ever-changing moods of creativity.
