At Mellwood Arts & Entertainment Center, you can use any caterer you like and bring in your own alcohol. We offer an ample 8 hour + set-up time and extended event time at no extra charge, along with plenty of free parking, tables & chairs, and use of our warming kitchen.
Wedding ceremonies and receptions, banquets, and other special events find it a great venue; conveniently located off I-71, I-64, I-65 and minutes from downtown and lower Brownsboro Road. We offer three special event rooms situated in a most interesting environment of artist studios, shops & galleries.

Event Room 1
(10,000 sq. ft. w/ 1500 sq. ft. attached balcony)
Adjacent Lawn available for an additional fee of $500
40 round tables (60”)
10 buffet (6' x 30") tables.
Capacity in this room goes from 175 – 350 seated at round tables, higher for stand-up receptions & type of events.
This room easily divides for ceremony & reception.
Event Room 2
(4,000 sq. ft.)
Adjacent concrete area available for an additional fee of $400, you must provide a tent to make the space private.
20 round tables (60") ***
6 buffet tables (6' x 30")
***Will seat 8 per table comfortably, making 160 the ideal capacity. Theater style seating or stand-up reception 60 - 200 people.
This room works best for a small reception - combination of ceremony & reception works only if the guests are seated at their dining tables for both.
Event Room 3
(12,500 sq. ft. + 3,900 sq. ft. private front courtyard)
$2995.00 + $150.00 janitorial fee + $150 kitchen fee
70 round tables (60")
20 buffet tables (6' x 30")
Capacity 175 – 650 seated at round tables, higher for stand up receptions depending on floor plans & type of event.
Inside or outside ceremony space included in the rental price.
For every chair or table you add, the standing capacity is altered.

We take a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the date with
the balance to be paid 60 days prior to your event.
