Art Holes! is an Official Affiliated event to the Cup
Experience
18 fully functional mini golf courses designed and created
by local artists
We would like to inform you about
an exciting art project, “18 Art Holes”.
Artists, architects, engineers, boy scouts, teachers,
etc. were invited to create 18 fully functioning and unusual
putt putt courses that will be open to the public for
entertainment. This project
is a perfect way of initiating contact between the public
at large with art through an interactive relationship.
The exhibition is hosted by the Mellwood
Art Center in partnership with the Kentucky Museum of
Art and Craft during the months of August through October.
“18 Art Holes” will coincide
with The Ryder Cup, which comes to Louisville,
Kentucky September 16-21 bringing thousands of world
wide golf enthusiasts to town.

Golf
Kentucky by Joel Pinkerton
Some descriptions of
the challenging courses…
Golf
Kentucky- Navigate
your golf ball over the state of Kentucky made out of
KY Licenses plates. It makes for a bmpy ride.
70s Dance Lounge- Resist
the urge to dance the hustle as you move the ball over
shag carpet
Paparazzi- See what its like
to be a celebrity. Walk the red carpet, swing your club
and avoid the cameras flash
